Here is some really helpful info for my clients to follow before our appointment!

Bobbie Pin Beauty Tips and Prep Sheet

*Wash you hair the night before your appointment. If you use a leave in conditioner or serum, apply a pea size amount to the ends of your hair and NOT on the roots. Using too much of any serum, Moroccan oil, or Argon oil will make the hair look stringy if its near your scalp or over applied.
If your hair is very curly or coarse, blow dry a little especially near the front of your face, your curls or waves look will be smoother.

*Cleanse your face and apply a light moisturizer or serum. Try to avoid any creams that are heavy or contain Alpha Hydroxy or Salicylic Acid, these dont bind well with make up. Dab on a little eye cream and lip moisturizer.

*Drink lots of H2o, Green Tea (hot or cold) and Vitamin C the week before the event, it helps hydrate the skin, and make it glowy! If you have a blemish or breakout~ I highly suggest using this amazing product (Pink stuff)called Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu, it will banish the blemish over night! You can pick some up at Ulta or by ordering online at Mariobadescu.com

*Feel free to bring a favorite picture of what type of hairstyle or make up look you want. An up do or smoky eye can be a 100 different ways…but if you are open, just leave the decision to your stylist, we will work our magic on you!!

*If you are getting a spray tan, try to do it a few days to a week before our session. To avoid staining, use a heavy cream/ vaseline on your elbows, knees, hands and feet! Brow waxing or tweezing should be done around a week before our appointment. Hair trim is advised about 2 ½ weeks before your appointment, that way it will have time to wear in.

*If a stylist has to blow dry wet hair the day of the appointment, an added charge will be applied of $30 for this additional service.

*All Make up applications include: false eyelashes, lipstick, powder touch up at the end of the session. Hair styling will includes a hair touch up. If you have clip in human hair extensions, bring them for an extra sultry look! Hair extension placement starts at $30 extra for a full pack.

*Tattoo Cover Ups are available. Let us know ahead of time so we can allow a little extra time for the additional service. Cover-ups start at $40+ depending on the size and darkness of the tattoo.
